As most of you style-watchers know, it was Fashion Week 2013 in New York. As an interior designer, it is important to stay current with all trends, and we loved the styles and colors shown on the runway this year.
A re-occurring trend seen in many runway looks is the mixing of patterns. The combination of different prints and textures was one of the most popular looks of 2012 and it looks as though it is here to stay. This trend is extremely bold and eye-catching, and will make for an eclectic look for the home.
Although Pantone has announced Emerald as the color of 2013, a few other colors have taken center stage on the runway of New York Fashion Week. Burnt Orange and Charcoal are top colors for the season in the fashion world as well as the interior design industry.
This Burnt Orange Egg Chair is one of our favorites here at Shanna Shryne Design.
From the vibrant patterns and the warm hues trending in New York Fashion week, these looks will create an inviting atmosphere in any space. Stay tuned to see how Shanna Shryne Design uses these ideas from Fashion Week 2013 in our upcoming jobs!
